Since its inception in 2011, the organisation has undertaken some activities such as providing trainings for youths and women in the areas of Horticulture, soap making, clothing and designing, vegetable gardening and farming. These trainings have greatly impacted on the communities by making the youths and women self employed. This has helped to reduce the unemployment rate in these communities. The organisation has also helped paid the fees of needy but hard working students. This has helped to reduce the school dropout rate in the communities.

It has also provided safe drinking water for some schools and communities by providing them with hand pumps or rehabilitation of hand pumps. Safe drinking water is one of the highly needed areas of assistance for most of the communities in The Gambia. Most areas drink from open well water which normally makes them suffer from diarrhoea.

The organisation has provided assistance to schools in the form of painting, maintenance of furniture, leaking roof of the classroom building and educational materials.

With regards to funding, we raise funds from farming and gardening. The proceeds from the crops we give to the poor and some into our coffers emergency. We also do fund raising activities in schools in the form of musical concerts to raise funds for needy students. Honestly most of our funds come from individual donations from well wishers both within and outside The Gambia.

The rice project to support school feeding programme in the schools was a pilot project 2008 -2010, locally funded by well wishers. See photo gallery. Get involved to fight poverty in the developing countries. Act: it only takes one minute to email Us for action on
